Make Your Own Mic Covers



Mic cover flying tips. Take nine of your best friends, even your worst friends, who cares. Each chip in ten cents. Buy two pairs of brown jersey gloves. If you only have five friends, just buy one pair, they'll cost you a dollar and a half. Cut the fingers off and slip them on your headset mic and secure with a rubber band or slip tie. Ten pairs of mic covers for ninty eight cents (or five for a dollar fifty).

A variation on this is to use knitted gloves or very fine leather gloves. A fur lined glove could be used for ultimate noise suppression, they can be turned inside out. You may have to put small holes in the leather over the mic.
